The Hospice is very proud of its retail operation, a part of our Marketing & Income Generation Department, which has grown steadily over the years to become a genuine presence in the high streets around Cumbria and a popular place for many in our community. There are many ways you can support our retail team, both on the high street and online. Please see the buttons below for more information.

Shop opening times

Our Furniture Shop in Carlisle is open from 09.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Saturday. We are also open on Sunday's from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Ring them direct on 01228 549473 to arrange a drop-off.

Our Penrith Shop is open from 10.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Saturday. Ring them direct on 01768 428713 to arrange a drop-off.

Our Lanes Bookshop is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Saturday. Ring them direct on 01228 595881 to arrange a drop-off.

Our Lonsdale Street Shop is open from 10.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Saturday. Ring them direct on 01228 596640 to arrange a drop-off.

We would like to remind all supporters NOT to leave donations in our shop doorways. We will not accept any donations left within the shop doorways into the shop and they will be classed as fly tipping, with the items being removed by the council.
