Education, Play and Activity Facilitator
Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, may be required to work occasional weekends and evenings.
Flexible working required to meet the needs of the service.
£18,823 to £22,084 per annum, depending on knowledge and experience
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Education, Play and Activity Facilitator to join our Jigsaw Team.
The role will encompass all aspects of activities such as play, music, art and social activities, along with some educational aspects to meet the needs of children, young adults and their families. It is a holistic and rewarding role that allows children and young adults to have experiences appropriate to their needs, but not restrictive to their condition.
You will be working as part of a supportive and welcoming multidisciplinary team ensuring children and young people have the opportunity to engage in activities to meet social, emotional, spiritual and educational needs.
Jigsaw is a place of fun and laughter where children and young adults can stay and create memories which will last a lifetime. Our team provides one to one care for children and young adults with life limiting illnesses.
Our home from home environment allows for us to match the children and young adults home routines as closely as possible, ensuring a smooth, relaxing and peaceful transition between home and hospice environments. The care we offer is wide ranging and includes, respite, short breaks, emergency, palliative and end of life care.
